Welcome back Wayne
There's the increase in racism, of course.
Surely you could also have squeezed xenophobia in as well.......standards are slipping here......

As a nation our global purchasing power is 13% less than it was on 23rd June. Foreign investors who have invested in the UK or bought UK debt are 13% poorer.
The FTSE is up only on the basis of the increase in value in sterling terms of foreign earnings. Meanwhile input prices and raw material prices have increased by 13% due to our currency weakness, destroying margins and future profitability.
This idea that we're getting a free ride on the back of a cheaper currency is a complete nonsense.
I'm not sure they can currently. My point was that once the government start ignoring results such as the referendum, it opens the possibility of further government interference when us plebs make the wrong decision.
Destroy Lancashire to keep the lights on in the Home Counties, sounds pretty much sound Tory thinking.
Yo Dixie Fifa,Yep.
That's just the start of it. They'll be steamrollering in all sorts of legislation. In this case they'll put it down to 'energy security' , in most other cases they'll use 'security' and 'because of brexit' to 'introduce' and excuse all sorts of thinly-veiled megalomaniacal policies.
Sound mate.Your thread, mate![]()
Come on remainers..... For the last couple of days you've all been moaning about the £ exchange rate.....so a very simple question
'What rate would you like it to be against the $ or the € '.......
Can't comment on the €/$, but pre-referendum I was getting around 38 Czech Koruna to the pound. Now I'm getting 30, which kinda sucks.
But any Czech family visiting the UK will be happy......but my question is all about the faux outrage about the movement in the £ since the vote. I can't wait to see just what levels of exchange the other remainers come back with........
Unless they're faced with the xenophobic abuse that Brexit has lured into the public space.
That 8 million pound brochure sent to every household spelt out the pitfalls of leaving the EU?Heralding democracy off the back of a poll where campaigns were full of blatant lies and would have failed advertising code rules is somewhat ironic
Changing the subject slightly, do you think all of those 17m people would have voted the way they did if it was made clear that we'd definitely lose access to the single market?
