To bring you back into it - my thoughts about it from a trade and geopolitical point of view is that Britain should've stayed in the EU.Anyway guys, all EU stuff put aside, what do you actually think about joining the CPTPP both from a trade and geopolitical point of view…..

Seeing as that's out of the question as per that whole Brexit thing - potentially good, realistically a year or 4 late (I know it is official as of 2018, don't worry) as far as a "good" deal goes as it should've been in place just about when Brexit was in motion and not an afterthought as it is now, because it looks desperate really. It also won't be as good as the trade routes/deals/trading in general with the EU, ever, but you dig your own grave and all that, right?
Loving the tory from the quote you put here, right at the end - "it wouldn't be possible to make this deal while in the EU"... also it wasn't necessary, you absolute melon, as you had better trade anyway and you didn't need it.
So what's the treasure Britain's exporting/importing with, basically, Australia then? Selling the queen's ashes in little tubes? Royal blood in vials? Who knows, but it will be worth one hundred thousand trillion (Australian) dollars!
The simple question of name one positive thing the tories have done in 13 years, that simple question...

Trade, meh. It’s not a big deal at all. Geopolitically I doubt it really gives us any advantage over what we had before. What Brexit has done is push us further away from all of our most important partners and made us much worse off as a country. But you know this. We had a (big) seat at the table to make things different in the EU but we chose to take our decreasingly small ball home. And what a home we have now after it.Anyway guys, all EU stuff put aside, what do you actually think about joining the CPTPP both from a trade and geopolitical point of view…..
