No doubt who the US will see as responsible for a breakdown in the agreement, no matter how much the messaging for the UK domestic audience might portray otherwise.

Its been done already the US trade envoy met their U.K> counterpart last week, very frosty and a finger wagging at the UK and there was no progress on a trade deal due to the UK stance on NI.

No surprise really that language has softened this week in the UK government.

Never ceases to surprise me how the UK forget about the Irish/American vote in the US and how that feeds into American domestic power, NI is a key issue for them and they have massive skin in the game. Not even to mention that the president is basically from Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Plus, of course, the world will be watching with interest as the government try to unilaterally welsh on an agreement they themselves signed (and boasted about) when it comes to signing other agreements with other nations. This bunch of chancers are hellbent on wrecking our reputation.

A bit of unfortunate Tory terminology creeping in there.
