Excellent, French woman attacks Boris Johnson because her own President is a prat…
I think the point she was making was that people on the continent view our leader as a dishonest buffoon, in much the same way people viewed Trump. I think you need to update your script Pete as even among the Tory party he's becoming incredibly unpopular because they accept what an utter liability he is. 2nd least popular minister I think in recent polls of members.

The French tend to use similar tactics all the time. They always accuse someone else of whatever failures they themselves produced. Hence Macron states that the U.K. should be serious and use diplomatic language while at the same time calling our PM a ‘clown’. The French are not happy over fishing, their migrant failure, Aukus and submarines, the fact that they haven’t stolen London’s banking, and they are not getting their way within the EU because the U.K. is playing the EU/U.K. agreement to the letter. It will get worse when France assumes the presidency of the EU in January and Macron uses it to attack the U.K. and get himself re-elected…..

You don't think Johnson "is" a clown? o_O

You have just described 99% of politicians, regardless of nationality. The French politicians don't have a copyright on playing the blame game. As I said before, regardless of nationality why is she not allowed to have her own opinion. I am sure there are French who side with Johnson but we ignore this in the face of generic stereotypes, don't we ;)

You talk as if you knew exactly what was going to happen with regards to Brexit, regardless of whose fault it is now. People who voted for Brexit, voted for this, some of the blame has to be put on them. She is absolutely spot on that Brexit made Johnson and now the UK has to live with him, hopefully for not much longer given the current sentiment across all political spectrums.
