So Macron has now thrown his toys out of the pram with America, the U.K. and Australia. He has shown himself up pretending to be tough while everyone else just gets on with ignoring him. His standard modus operandi seems to be take personal offence over anything, blow it up out of all proportion, then say the ball is in the other countries court and they must offer him something. I’m afraid he’s now been found out and had his pants pulled down by Australia. I expect that the rest of the EU are getting a little bit fed up of his mini Napoleon act…..

I used to think Macron was the French Tony Blair. Unfortunately for the French, he's probably worse and that's going some.

Back on an EU tack. What a pain in the backside sending stuff to the EU is now though. Fill in several forms in triplicate. Grrr.

I just think that without him it would have been Le Pen, so there's always that.

A perfect UK media view of the president of the French Republic.
Brilliant.

Be sooner rather than later, the beginning of the end our populist frolic has begun. Sensible heads will prevail and see the merits of being part of something bigger and stronger. Geopolitics and our economics will demand it.
