I’m looking at local house price figures in the area.
Lower wages have meant lower prices too. Cheaper good, cheaper services. Including things like the NHS
There are lots of benefits to cheap labour.

People are fined for not completing the census form. Indeed, the census team themselves say the takeup in 2021 was 97%

I'm not sure that supports your baseless claim that EU nationals don't complete the census, therefore, are over-running your town far more than the actual data suggests quite as much as you think it does.

Bore off Bruce. Just because you are married to an EU citizen doesn't mean everyone should get all misty eyed at the thought of immigration as you do.

How about trying to work out why 52% of this country don't think its a good idea without trying to blame all and sundry, or claiming people fell for lies etc

Its more that they are stupid. Us being in the EU had little impact on immigration, or rather, reasons why folk that live in areas that have more than their fair share of it dont much like it.

So us leaving the EU will make zero difference to your localised issue.

The point I was making is the EU, or rather us being in it, was blamed for successive UK governments mismanaging our own immigration issues.
