Very strange definition of middling...

The uk is the 6th biggest economy in the world out of 195 countries.

The gap between the second and third biggest economies is a lot bigger than the gap between us and the smallest economy. And that's excluding the EU block as an entity. Also, we were the fifth biggest economy before brexit. Unless you're part of the establishment people voted to be worse off.

The Dominic Cummings tweets are a real eye opener @Dominic2306

I may not have liked him, but I always believed there was a keen intellect that knew the ins and outs of politics.

Well it seems there has been a bit of looking behind the curtain in Oz moment. The guy is all over the place. Can't help but feel any success he enjoyed was by circumstance not design.

There is only one true Emperor. Valiant effort, I'm sure had you attended the same school he might even had noticed you, alas all you have is your words for caps there is only one clown.

I am far from convinced that the international community sees us as the bad guys in this scenario.

By the way are you suggesting that we have handed over NI to the EU in the same way Gibraltar was handed over to the UK?

Astonishing assertion if so.

It's almost like the worlds 6th biggest economy and the world's 5th biggest spending armed forces has actually found it bollocks.

Still a ’kin mess, still don’t know what they’re doing, still changing their mind on implementation every week

To sum up, it’s a massive [Poor language removed] show
It’s actually worse than that. The only semblance of a policy that they had was to “Get Brexit Done”. No understanding of why they wanted it done, or what they would do to improve things once it was done. After that it’s now all about the fat embarrassment of a scruff at the top.

Interesting editorial article in the Times yesterday contrasting the intellect and competence of past members of governments with the inadequacies of this crew.

Even their fanzines are turning on them and seeing them for what they really are.

Thats the essence of "Brexit" in one line.

Its why every single argument for leaving (take back control/£350m a week etc etc) was easily dismantled and exposed for the claptrap they were. The only valid and honest reason for leaving was the most basic, but equally vapid, one. The one espoused on here often. "I just dont like them".

Businesses in the North East want the PM to "level up" about Brexit.

"The North East England Chamber of Commerce has written to Mr Johnson to say that Brexit has led to a drop in exports as well as difficulties such as shortage of HGV drivers and increased costs related to added bureaucracy".

One in the eye for the uncaring entitled elites types...

"Catherine McGuinness, policy chair at the City of London Corporation, thinks that the biggest losers will be individuals seeking justice as consumers or in their personal lives.

"I'd be more concerned about the implications for ordinary people, and smaller businesses operating cross border," she says, adding that very big firms will be able to amend their contracts to ensure they still work."

Taking back control.
