I'm sure it's just the UK media putting their slant on comments and statements.Perhaps it’s just the media, but every time I see or hear anything from VDL and the EU it’s all about how they can punish the U.K....they love pretending to be the big bully...

Given the UK were supposedly prioritising fishing, this clearly hasn't gone well.
Can anybody on here explain how Johnson claims Brexit helped deal with the threat posed by the European super league? How does Brexit affect the ESL? Has this idiot finally lost the plot? Or have we finally got a positive from Brexit/Johnson?

He could have refused work permits for the forens.
It is actually (not that I think this is a good thing at all).Would have to be for every club in or out European Super League the entire UK. So short answer is probably no, as I would imagine every court in the land would take the greedy clubs side on this. In addition with these clubs playing 1/2 their games abroad I am sure they could keep some players off shore all season if they wanted. Really down to footballing authorities and us in the 14.

Lots of could, so would have ended up in court as alluded, and greedy six would have have won. So couple of years of busy lobbying and it will be back, they may have to surrender little slither of the pie with us and such like. In the end free market and greed will succeed too many in football subscribe to its principles, you only need to spend a few minutes here to get a sense of it.It is actually (not that I think this is a good thing at all).

I didn't say it was a good thing or indeed likely, just that I suspect that's the slither of truth Johnson used to construct his ridiculous notion that being out of the EU saved English football (ignoring the two Milanese clubs who also jumped ship).Lots of could, so would have ended up in court as alluded, and greedy six would have have won.
