The unrest is not unique to mainland it seems. Nothing like moral majority or lack of it appears.

Simmering tensions in loyalist communities in NI take a turn for the worse in their opposition to the Northern Ireland Protocol. Johnson and his "Get Brexit done" election vote can't say they weren't warned.

Of all Brexit negatives that were simply dismissed by idiots as project fear this has to be the most worrying of the realities of Brexit.

I'm waiting for the

  • 'I'll be the first to speak up when workers rights/human rights are reduced'
  • 'it'll never happen, people won't stand for it'
  • 'we won't reduce our standards, that's not what the UK is trying to do'

People to make themselves heard.

We ordered a portable Pi based experimental hub for our daughter last year, was due in December, but got pushed back because of Covid caused by lack of components. Because the UK was a major Pi stronghold, the distribution hub was going to be here, but got moved to Germany because if Brexit. The units arrived a couple of weeks ago and have been delivered in Europe, but they've given up trying to get the paperwork sorted for the UK, and now they're sending them direct from China...
