I'm not sure what point you're making tbh. The EU finances haven't been signed off for years because of various corruption and lack of visibility. When were they last audited and the auditors signed them off......

Do you think they should be investigated for tax evasion?

Be honest Dave, you fancy Theresa.......
Defo...

If memory serves me right, whole cars are imported from Germany - Audi, VW, Merc, BMW. From France - Citroen, Renault, Peugeot. from Spain - Seat, From Italy Fiat, Alfa, Ferrari, Is that enough for you. So we import a few parts for the Mini, we are still way down in terms of balance of trade to the EU.

It is far from a 'few parts for minis'. The SMMT have said the costs of imported car parts from the EU - between 30% and 60% imported from the EU depending on the make and model - will rise. Tariffs will be between 10 and 20 percent depending on the part and and therefore make UK assembled cars more expensive. Add a 10% WTO tariff to the finished car, and the 60% of UK assembled cars exported to the EU will be even more expensive. Which could/would result in the Uk selling less to EU countries.

Of course, the UK government will get the 10% tariff from imported goods, but if they do not pass this on to the makers of cars then they will suffer and will lay-off workers. Which is why Nissan have called for 'compensation for potential tariffs post-Brexit'. But compensation could be challenged, by countries in the EU and the rest of the world, on WTO rules regarding state subsidies to industry.

But If they do pass it on then everyone is happy...yes......

All non UK car makers will not be happy. It will be seen as a subsidy/unfair competition/bailing out industry/dumping and won't go down well in trade negotiation with the EU and the rest of the world. Every UK car producer, and other exporters to the EU, will want compensation, and it would be interesting to see if the cost of which would be met by what the UK raises in tariffs. Doubt it.

Err joey You said "it's never audited it's accounts"

And then you've replied with a quote that contains the following to try and prove your claim

"Despite an official Audit failing to give a clean bill of health"

rest your case indeed
Oh so they do an audit, and its billions out if it was your mortgage you would be homeless are you a joker???????
when I was a manager and auditors came in if my books were wrong = sacked!

Joey provided information that said they've been audited. It's pretty simple
yes but billions out ever dealt with a good auditor no well I have they are like the gestapo they would not let you get away with being 10p out two billion out and you defend that???????? you would have to be pretty simple as you put it to be a member of such a corrupt organisation!
If this had been put to the people over missing billions from the accounts in June the vote would have been a bigger majority than 52% against a joke of an organisation good riddance to them!

Come on Mate that is pathetic, is that all you can think of?

Ok how about she is the by product of the merging of the scrapings of tbe dried Dennis jizz down the back of dear Margaret's thighs, the phlegm from one of Pinochet's nasal boils and 3 wishbones from Norman Tebbits pubic lice, all coated with industrial femfresh.

Happy? Don't know what your problem was in the first place, I was being a gent guvnor ;)
