There’s a bit of local dispute at the moment concerning a company named Land & Lakes, they have bought land which was owned previously by Rio Tinto. The aluminium smelting plant was based very near the land which is currently a nature reserve and part of the coastal path. L&L want to destroy the reserve and build a centre parks type holiday camp.... the catch being that they firstly want to use the park as a base for all the workers who will be building the new plant (if it ever goes ahead). The build is going to take approximately 15-20 years to complete and after that the site of the workers accommodation will be transformed into the holiday park. Anybody with half a brain knows that as soon as the power plant is built L&L will cease to exist and us locals will be left with a derelict caravan site and a hefty bill to tidy the place up.

....nature reserve....it’s the same field as the leisure centre but without the sheep......

A holiday camp next door to a plant?
That's a novel selling point.
The camp would be about 15 miles away from the proposed power plant ..... but across the road to the camp is an aluminium powder plant.... I used to work there for a short time, the trees around there are a beautiful shade of silver where the dust particles settle on the leaves lol

Haha.
Such a beautiful place as well,
I was on a beach there last year and it was a lovely sunny day,
Beautiful bay clear water, asked some fella who had been scuba diving what it was called, as I had just seen it driving about and stopped off.
Was expecting it to have some poetic Welsh name, he said not sure fella but we call it toilet beach as it has the only bogs around here , sort of took the shine off it, still dont know what it's really name was .
Not far from south stack.

Along the headland ? In a dip between 2
hills ? Porthdafarch it sounds like

Sounds about right , we parked on a hill and walked down the road to it, had a watersports place on it and a food van , ice cream van when we were there, oh and bogs,
Water was lovely and clear there.
Railings along the side of the road too ... it’s a beautiful spot... about 10 mins drive from here ...
