Remember when we were told that the EU was going to sue AZ and take them to court etc etc, of course that was before the contract was actually published and VDL started to make grovelling apologies. I feel a bit sorry for AZ, because having honoured their contracts with the U.K. and EU (as written) the EU will undoubtedly find a way to punish them. We’ve already had the German and French attacks upon their Covid vaccine (not for over 65 yada yada yada), but I’m sure that their vengeance will come over the following months....

It;'s quite amusing the way folks like you vacillate between 'Britain is mighty and stands up to people like the cowardly EU' and 'The EU is so dastardly and will wreak vengeance on small old little us' - it's ALMOST like you just choose whatever helps fit your narrative of foreigners being not very nice.

I find people from other countries outside of the EU to be very nice. Having spent years meeting and working with them. I also find the countries within Europe filled with really nice people. I tend to dislike our own politicians so I don’t really hold much store by the politicians in other countries either. The overtly political nature of the AZ criticism from Macron being a case in point. I am happy with our own little U.K. and am proud of most of its people and it’s ability to look after ourselves and others. I am very happy to be outside of the EU and it’s bureaucracy.....
