Look at the list of well-respected people calling for remain, and then look at what they have been doing for the past thirty years. Seeing Cameron, Osborne, Blair, Brown, Clegg, Branson, Beckham, Major and the rest all saying the same thing (and in a campaign funded by Goldman Sachs and Bet365 no less) is the biggest single reason I have voted to leave.

As opposed to people like Farage, Johnson, Nick Griffin all saying the same thing, whilst being funded by Rupert Murdoch.

Mrs. Tree and I were at the polling station when it opened at 7am this morning (it's on our route to work), and there were around 20 people already queued up waiting. Whichever way it goes I hope there's a massive turnout.

If this was to decide what milk to put in your tea then I'd agree, but this decision will have repercussions across the whole continent. I'm not sure enough people are really grasping that. I've seen some saying today, for instance, that a collapse of the EU would be a good thing, as though all of the things that would go into such a collapse are positive. It's like we've completely forgotten the last 1,000 years of European history.

Remain for me, not because one is intrinsically better than the other, but as a lesser evil. Our career-politicians are mostly self interested short-termists, and we would nearly all suffer as a consequence of Westminster having no external

It wasn't Farage, Johnson or Griffin that got us into a war that cost nearly a million lives. It wasn't Farage, Johnson or Griffin that destroyed the higher education system in this country so that people get into north of thirty thousand in debt just so they get a degree. It wasn't Farage, Johnson or Griffin that signed us up to ruinous PFI deals that will cost us, our children and our grandchildren billions more than it should have. It wasn't Farage, Johnson or Griffin that brought about a system whereby immigrants (EU and non-EU) are brought into the country, exploited and put under awful conditions in a deliberate and successful attempt to keep the wage levels at the bottom of society low.

Farage, Johnson, and Griffin are scum. However they are scum of a rather lesser order than the people who were and are in charge of thirty years of ruinous government - all of whom sucked up to and protected Murdoch when they or he wanted something.

Watched that last night. Focuses solely on all the good stuff, never really touches on the stuff that is driving folk to voting Leave. Just another well educated but ultimately biased view.

Here in NZ we recently had a 'new flag' referendum.

That was such an unfair referendum. Instead of asking 'do you want to change the flag?' and then if the vote was 'yes' working on a range of designs, they offer the designs first (ie anyone who voted for a losing design is likely to stick with the current flag) then pitch it against the existing one. What a con!
