The Oxford vaccine will be approved next week and that will be a complete game changer in respect of the rollout to vaccinate the U.K. population...the U.K. is ahead of the game, ahead of the EU and despite everything thrown at us this year, next year will see the back of this cursed Chinese virus.....
For a Government you routinely cheer as doing a wonderful job, what does 'game changing' mean in this context?

What happens after the ,5 and a half years?
I see the trade deal has a review at four years to make sure the UK is "playing by the rules agreed in this deal and to see that the level playing field is still level".

The EU knows Johnson well, better than those who vote for him. Timed to be after the next UK General Election of course so he can tell one thing to his sycophants and then U-turn

And Is this the part where all Brexit say they always wanted a deal and that no deal was never going to happen?

European cooperation still continues;
In Dover today;
Paramedics from the fire and rescue service of the French département of Nord, carrying out covid tests on drivers, to help clear the log jam of trucks waiting to cross the Channel.
Like it!

If you remember any of this thread you would know that most if not all Leave voters believed we would get a deal, but It is also true that most of those who still post in here also expressed a view that WTO a arrangements were also acceptable. Boris has taken this whole Brexit process, stopped the nonsense and embarrassing shenanigans in the HoC, delivered on the promise to take the U.K. out of the EU, and has now agreed an FTA with them. From 1st Jan we are free to pursue our own path.......

Nothing for you to either boast about and quite frankly in poor taste to try to score Internet points over. The U.K. has now vaccinated 800,000 people and are as I said ahead of the game in getting its population vaccinated against this virus.....

Internet points? I’m not the one singing happy happy joy joy.

Unless it deviates from EU standards.

we now have the right to say we are different but not actually be different

Since VDL slapped Macron down and the EU told him to get the border open, they have indeed helped to address the issue that their own President created.....

Ha Ha.

Peston nailing Johnson over Van der Leyen's insistence that the UK will still be effectively in regulatory alignment with the EU which means state subsidies, worker's rights, tax, the environment will need to be adhered to or incur the imposition of tariffs and now there's a load of new bureacracy for British businesses.

Johnson "erm, no, now come on...erm". FFS, he doesn;t realise what he's signed up to.

Lol.
