As a former HGV driver it's a tough job. Me I personally blame Macron and the French government. If it was the fault of our government I would say so. But it isn't this time it's purely Macron

Did you get sacked because of that nasty lingering smell of dead prozzy in the back of your cab @Frang and the fact that the Police kept turning up at the depot asking about your route ?

Actually you're right mate, everything will be far better than it was before. All those who are fearful need only look at the incredible job Bojo has done and the detailed plans he has put in place. Lol
Actually I may well be wrong but so could the remainers. But we wait to see what happens let's believe every doom and gloom story. Much of it fake news

If you say so. Did it when I was younger. It's a tough job long hours driving and I couldn't watch my beloved blues as you have to work weekends to make up your pay. Glad I retrained in the building game
This fella you and others go on about must have really upset you. Get over it. It's only a forum

Well for sure, remainers could be wrong. But they have been given absolutely no tangible plans, evidence, facts or reasons to have even an ounce of faith in the current leadership to assuage of them of their fears. Just because you can get high off unicorn fumes and nebulous talk about sovereignty doesn't mean everyone can. So it comes down to blind faith and whether you have it or not, because all signs point towards this being an act of egregious self harm and needless pain for millions that will last for years and years. Remainers are right to ask questions about how this whole thing is supposed to work, because nobody else seems to be doing so. And certainly, there doesn't seem to be many answers

As a former HGV driver myself, surprisingly, I found it a very easy job and all the problems to actually be the fault of Euro Trucking Simulator making everyone a backseat lorry driver. If it was the fault of anyone else I'd say so. But it isn't this time it's purely video game simulators.
Just try and answer 1 question. Do you think Macron is to blame for closing this Dover route if you don't think he is would you tell me who is at fault

Your right that remainers can ask all the questions that they like and rightly so All your doubts may turn out to be true we just don't know yet. I came in here to say don't believe all the doom and gloom about food shortages. Been attacked,. Told I'm other people,. Been given anonymous stuff Told off for my spelling ha. Why. Just for having a different opinion and I haven't mentioned sovereignty at all!!

FWIW as has been pointed out already in various places, the French border has been open throughout this crisis - even after we put 14 day quarantine on travel from them.

That Macron closed it now, after Johnson announced this closing of London, should tell you how much France was told beforehand. That nearly everyone else has done the same should tell you what the WHO was told - not enough.

What's FWIW?
Freight traffic has always been allowed. France had the new variant. They are playing games

We are too honest for our own good. We informed WHO about the new variant. Other EU countries knew they had it but did nothing

Yet on here it's 2-1 to stay in But should we accept that. Let's still argue about it 4 years later
It's you and one or two others who argue. Most of us agree at least in part that leaving the EU is cold sick! Makes me warm and happy that so many blues would rather put all this leaving nonsense in the bin.
