No it won't I suggest you read up on the actual process mate.

Perhaps I should have used a sarcasm font.

Exactly, the reality of pre and post brexit will be different. What the differences consist of will be determined by the negotiations. But I somehow doubt that the only difference will be Britains exit from the EU, with the status quo on immigration and trade remaining exactly the same.

The negotiations are going to take place, and you don't know how they are going to go.

Read your post the one I read had too many nose bleeds in it not diplomatic arguments, Pete can look after himself anyway just calm down!
Nose bleed was another lazy attempted put down mate, and you ignored the actual content btw.

No free trade without free movement is the EU's stance, they've hardly been obtuse. They couldn't grant a deal that compromised on that issue either as the far right across Europe would be screaming for referendums. As we'd have been seen to have have left and yet retained all the benefits. It won't happen, as they can't allow it to happen.

Yes he does, the UK will be screwed and we will all have to do what the EU tells us.......or just maybe the EU will remember that we are the 5th largest economy on the planet, saved them in two world wars, maintain the 4th strongest military, occupy a permanent seat on the UN, are part of a Commonwealth including India that encompasses a quarter of the planet, has very close relations with the USA,Canade,Australia and all English speaking countries, has developed relationships with China and understands the middle east and far east and has the ability to go back out in the world and trade with basically everyone........

Then there won't be a deal, and hundreds of thousands of Germans and Europeans will lose their jobs.....it's political grandstanding by the Eu, and either a deal will be done or the Eu will suffer......we won't, we'll be too busy doing deals around the globe while the Eu haggles about immigration or the shape of light bulbs.......

How will hundreds of thousands of Germans lose their jobs Pete?

And yet a tariff deal was no issue for us on exactly the same terms according to you, how does that work exactly?

That's a meaningless statement though isn't it Pete? Are we seriously suggesting that Rolls Royce (for instance) could only sell or operate within the EU whilst we're members? That BAe never had a huge presence in America? Our companies have always been able to trade with anyone in the world, and that hasn't changed. Trade agreements simply make that easier and less expensive.

If there is no deal, we go to WTO tariffs.....German cars and French produce go up by whatever % tariff is imposed, coupled with a devalued £ we just stop buying them because they are too expensive.....the Germans understand this, the French understand this......there will be a deal.....

So we as consumers lose out equally then, more so if the pound is devalued? Trade has two sides to it, we shouldn't think that only the supply side matters. Equally so, our financial institutions will want to retain access to the passport scheme, our universities will want to retain access to smart students (and maybe even H2020), our farmers might even want to remain part of the CAP whilst also wanting to retain access to labour.

Indeed, and I am very closely acquainted with both of those companies, having been a senior Director in one. BAESYSTEMS is equally set up in both the UK and USA having bought a number of Us defence companies and inherited a few from GEC. While they deal with Europe because of the Eurofighter consortium , Airbus and the European Space Agency, none of this will change and they will see neither a reduction nor an improvement in EU sales. Rolls Royce, aerospace and engines, are in the same area and you will notice that their shares were unaffected by Brexit.........

However our trade with traditional UK countries, Australia, NZ, India, etc have been affected because of our Eu membership...can you remember as a kid that we always had NZ Lamb...well now we can do these deals again without having the anchor of having to agree them with 27 other countries at the same time.......

Bruce, these things won't go away, we will still be a part of Europe and some of it's institutions, just as we always have been, apart from CAP, and we can still bring in labour as required, we just won't be ruled by the Eu elite in Brussels.......
