The sham dance being played out here.

We know there'll be a deal - the EU have these tools over a barrel, and Johnson cant have his legacy be 'the man who cratered the economy for a decade'.

Look at the way it’s going to be painted. All the eu’s fault again!
It's hard to see how things are going to move from either side as it doesn't seem like there's any trust in the UK not to diverge from standards and the UK has obviously put their flag up the sovereignty pole and so can't politically accept being a rule-taker. Game over isn't it?

They are absolutely amazing this lot, EU hammered out complex trade deals with Singapore and Canada, we sign basically an addendum to say we'll carry that on as is, and they wave it in the air like its a sign of British resurgent independence.

Meanwhile they throw out a trading agreement with our biggest market by far to please a bunch of spivs who'll bail at the first sign of trouble.

'kin charlatans the lot of them.

It’s all grandstanding for now. Be a last minute deal of sorts I’d imagine. Brave Boris fighting for us all. What a shitshow.

A good case study as to why Labour have such a big problem with the media, one that changing leader isn’t going to do that much to fix - several of those headlines read as if they’ve been dictated by CCHQ.

When this goes tits up as well the same papers will have to continue / step up the backing because they’ll get wiped out otherwise given their complicity in what has gone on (as we see happening right now in the US with Fox).

Yeah it’s mental. I started reading the front page of the telegraph and the language is a lot more subtle than the express and the mail but it’s saying exactly the same thing. Basically, ‘Johnson is doing everything he can to avoid a no deal but it’s the Eu and France who are being stubborn’
We created this mess.
Gutter journalism.
