Wow. All sounds scary that.

I'm sure your day-to-day life has been significantly hindered by the result of the referendum all these years later.

It's also going to get much worse apparently mate so strap yourself in.

Well firstly, we haven't technically left until January 1st, so I'll hold off on the bunting with regards to any tangible effects. Secondly, this is a bit like YoboKnbFace saying he hasn't been personally affected by COVID therefore it must all be made up flimflam.

It really isn't though is it?

And that technicality didn't stop all the blame being attached to the uncertainty of Brexit in the past few years.

Factory closing? Brexit
Prices up? Brexit
Food smaller? Brexit
Sciatica playing up? Brexit.

If a company says 'uncertainty around Brexit and the UKs future relationship with the EU' is the cause for them closing a factory, not investing in the UK or moving headquarters is that Brexit related or not?

You do realise don’t you that companies and the CEO’s and Boards are there to maximise profits. So if you are running company A and your numbers are not looking too good, what is the easiest excuse that will be lapped up by the city and investors ? What is a way to exert pressure upon the government for additional grants, tax relief, etc etc. Well hello to Mr Brexit.....

I hadn't realised this Pete, thanks for opening my eyes to it.

How many have moved to the UK specifically to capitalise on Brexit?

And if it all does not quite pan out as Boris / Gove / Farage predicted; well, there’s always good old Covid.
