I never liked him as labour leader but he seems a lot more comfortable in his own skin since then. Maybe came to soon for him. Is he now capable of performing a passable impression of a human? I still voted Labour under him, but I have never rated him as a political operator, a leader or even a great intellect (witness his proposal to cap energy bills).
Yeah it often seems that way. I remember seeing pics of Gordon brown with his kids leaving office and it was the first time he seemed normalI suspect tbh that a lot of politicians are alright when they're out of that environment.
