Just like Westminster Pete, there is no sense of responsibility at all in that post.

The issue only arose due to the U.K.Brexit vote and it is disingenuous (yet again) to attempt to disown it without formulating a workable solution for the good of the people and the region.

There is a considerable British population in NI who are relying on their govt not to just walk away and leave it for the EU to sort out.

I’ll say it again. Nothing will change for you guys, life will go on just as before. There will not be a border between NI and ROI unless the EU instructs the ROI to erect one......

So we're expected to believe that a country that has been sending the Navy into the channel is going to have no border at all in Ireland? How would a government that pledged to "take back control" of migration manage people when there is no check on who comes in via Ireland?
Maybe they want a 'very specific and limited' free border, while taking back control of the rest

I have asked that, on and off, for 4 years mate. So good luck.

Ask the minister who told the HOC they will break international law.

As with all law there are a number of interpretations. If the U.K. deems that the EU has broken the WA agreement in article 184 then it is perfectly entitled to enact its own laws via its own parliament regarding treatment of a part of the U.K. in the event that the EU effectively forces a no deal upon an Independent nation......

Hang on, correct me if I'm wrong but haven't we just left the biggest free trade bloc in the world. Now we join a lesser one, no doubt populated by unelected bureaucrats. I'm sure our elected representatives will look after our interests, oh, maybe not.

No idea mate. You are the captain of industry and ace negotiator; all I saw was a minister saying this new deal/law would break international law. This to be done to an oven ready brexit deal that I assume you reckon is pretty good.

No we haven’t. We have left the Eu and are negotiating for a suitable trade agreement. Whichever way it goes, trade will continue between the UK and the EU. The CPTPP is in addition, and our exporters will be very happy about this....

How have they breached Art.184?
