There’ll be a massive new 75,000 sqft facility going up in Seaforth container terminal. This is what the media will report has a trailer park.

5 of these facilities will be placed at location a around country due to lack of space at the ports; however, they need to be close enough to the actual port to reduce delays on clearance.

Dover and, I’d imagine, Anglesey will be 2 of these new locations. Ports with sufficient space, that also have availability on their site and have direct EU trade, will build them on site

Built by January?

Built by January?

no, the implementation of border checks will be a stage 3 process. January, April and then July; full controls and the requirements for these facilities will be for July.

For April there’ll be, from the SPS standpoint, documentary checks on products arriving of EU origin, mainly Products of Animal Origin. The checks will consist of authenticating the health certificate of that country to ensure compliance with food law

July will be the final implementation whereby a percentage of those imports are subject to identity and physical checks, including sampling for things like veterinarian residues

To the 307 here and the rest of Brexit...

Aleksandr Yakovenko Russian Ambassador to the UK 2011- 19, shares his appreciation for you!

“We have crushed the British to the ground, they are on their knees and they will not rise for a very long time.”

Iain Duncan Smith moaning this morning that the withdrawal agreement that he voted for, and that was negotiated by the leader he backed, is now rubbish and supposedly gives all of the power to the EU (presumably because it's not giving him the result he expected).

@Joey66 are you proud to have had these muppets lead you on like this?
