Not that we would do any better, but it is disappointing. The Czechs have been rallying the Visegrad 4 to oppose the bailout because they would be net donors rather than recipients, which they don't want to be, despite the shoe being on the other foot for the entirety of their membership to date. Poor that the Dutch are blocking things as well.

This is life though isn't it? If you want to do things internationally, then you can't pretend other nations don't exist.

Personally I don´t think it´s a case of UK versus EU, I think the English resented being ruled by an unelected elite in Brussels, and helping to pay for their luxurious lifestyles. Those were certainly my objections, though I voted to stay in.
The referendum result and the racism which emerged around it appalled me, so I decided to remain in Europe and moved to Spain.
England´s allies now seem to be the three most belligerent and malicious nations on the planet, America, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
It has doggedly fought it´s way into a hopeless situation and is happy to serve as an American aircraft carrier moored off the European coast.
No doubt the English royalty are now compromised by videos of Andy humping a minor, and both sides of government are controlled by Zionists.
Can´t see much of a future for perfidious Albion.
