They hadn't a clue what we would have to do to retain access. Negotiations were in the future and in any event the EU moved the goalposts at regular intervals - and are still moving them.

ONLY

What ‘goalposts’ have the EU moved in regards to SM access again? Go on.....

Like I have said, just one of the reasons I voted remain. Didnt have a clue what leaving meant, didnt believe the "easiest trade deal in history" bollox, unlike others who did know what they were voting for.

Apparently.

Don't know how to put this so that you can understand. They couldn't put it in the leaflet because they didn't know how negotiations would work out because they hadn't started negotiating. If they put anything in, it would be a guess (or project fear part 1). Cameron already had experience of negotiations with the EU when he tried to get a deal prior to the referendum and got the square root of sod all. He should have known better.
Elgin marbles and Gibraltar come to mind though what they have to do with trade, only the EU will know.

Mumble, mumble, considers the benefits of eugenics, mumble, mumble.

So, a couple of tweets is a representative view of all Brexit voters? And lets be honest, they are more likely to be fake tweets from bitter remainers. It's the new strategy....posting fake, stupid arguments to belittle all Brexiteers.

Have a day off, it's getting boring now...

Mumble, mumble, you won, get over it, mumble, mumble.

Only they did and it’s there for all to read for eternity, as the EU’s position on the indivisibility of the 4 freedoms as conditions of SM access have never changed. So I’ve no idea what you seem to think has changed on their position on that, and why you think the Govt couldn’t spell out what SM access as a non member of the EU would mean prior to the referendum, as you’re simply plain wrong.

I see some French minister is going on about “we play it with emotion, with drama, with passion, with symbols and we know how to make it a very I think nasty battle.'.....

these are our European ‘friends’.....just walk away and let them get emotional......

I hope to god the papers over there aren’t cherry picking quotes from some of our politicians then applying it to the entire population

Excellent news. We've got less rights to travel via our new blue passport and now we've got less information and warning about pandemic flu (which the UK classifies as the highest rated national risk).

I suspect this would've been initially met with 'project fear' and more recently 'we knew we were voting to be less protected against pandemic flu'
