I just want to be sure, as Pete has said repeatedly that now we've left the EU he will be holding our own politicians to account, so I figured he would certainly do that to the politicians in Westminster that made big promises about Brexit. Being a man of his word, I assumed there must have been something else at play apart from Gove clearly backtracking on his previous promises.
 
So Gove says we’re going to have an additional 50,000 heads that’ll be required to deal with the additional administrative friction at our borders.

So that’ll be £1.5BN+ p.a. in order to deal with the barriers to trade that we’ve chosen to erect, and that will result in less trade.

It's increasingly clear that 'sovereignty' is outweighing any real benefit to the country. That I'm fairly sure that wasn't in the brochure whatsoever is seemingly irrelevant.
