Simon Coveney is Lolling at your idiot country

He is, and we all know. It is a shame that he has put himself in a position that puts Ireland in a position of distrust. The U.K. tends to love Ireland, but his comments really don’t help. We all want a good deal, and Ireland needs it more than anyone, but this animosity from Coveney, and indeed people like yourself, really doesn’t help the situation. There is only so much crap that the people of the U.K. will take, and we take a lot, until we say sod it. That’s when Ireland goes bankrupt......

Think we'll be alright Pete, but thanks for your concern

I‘m not so sure. Obviously no one wants anyone to do badly. Germany absolutely needs a deal sorted as their economy goes south, France will always do what is best for France. So the ROI will be arguing amongst the rest of the EU, a bit like the Mercosur talks where Argentina beef will replace Irish beef, but Coveney is diminishing what political capital the ROI has with the U.K. and that’s not very clever. It would be better if he and others kept their mouths shut for a while, but I don’t expect it will happen...

Maybe they looked north at how Belfast was thrown under the bus by Johnson to save his own skin?

Well that seems sustainable.

Fox has fallen from proudly boasting that we'd have 40 trade deals the moment we left the EU to trade deals being a silly diversion from the really important stuff

Tory Minister lies and breaks promises shocker.

Wait until the serfs find out there's nothing doing for them after they get their Bregsit.
