So like many Remained you refuse to accept a democratic vote?
Immigration was an issue on the vote not the b all and end-all of the outcome of the result even Davy boy admitted he got it wrong on that point! You cannot label everyone as a bigot if they have a view on freedom of movement other countries have working visas border control outside the EU!
So please try not to be too clever in labeling anyone who wants controlled immigration on what one person in Barnsley

I never labeled everyone a bigot Joe. I only pointed out that you are on the same side of the vote as bigoted racists that don't want immigration at all.

To make a comparison. Folks voting for Trump are aligning themselves with David Duke supporters and the NRA. Two very bad things that I would never want to be associated with. I hope I never get to the point where my overall views align themselves with folks like them.

Have you tried that Yarg Cornish Cheese yet ?
I agree Trump is a worry but the anti establishment vote is gathering pace, you just have a knack on twisting post on here sawdust may solve it;)

Got bored of the "bigoted racist" insults from the remainers during the campaign and in the days after the vote. Most remainers I know are just like the SNP - not willing to accept the result of a public vote. Would have repeat referendums until they get it in their favour. It ain't happening, and won't happen for the SNP either no matter how much they chuck the toys out the pram.

We voted Leave. We will Leave. What we need now is the best deal with the EU for the UK and to strike up valuable trade deals with the rest of the world. We won't be the last country to vote to exit the EU you can count on that.

UKIP is now embroiled in civil war after Steven Woolfe was excluded from the ballot for the new leader after submitting his paperwork late.

Ukip is set for civil war after leadership favourite Steven Woolfe was banned from standing because of his late application, making Diane James the new frontrunner to succeed Nigel Farage.

The move to exclude him by Ukip’s vetting panel will provoke fury from his backers, including Ukip donor Arron Banks and possibly Farage.

Banks has blamed a coup led by those close to Douglas Carswell, the Ukip MP and critic of Farage, and Neil Hamilton, the former Tory MP. He has also threatened to call an extraordinary general meeting in an attempt to overturn the decision.

Woolfe himself may be prepared to launch a legal challenge. Those on the ballot are James, a former parliamentary candidate, Bill Etheridge, an MEP, Elizabeth Jones, a deputy chairman of Ukip’s Lambeth branch, Jonathan Arnott, also an MEP, Lisa Duffy, a party organiser, and Phillip Broughton, a former candidate.

The exclusion is likely to lead to a battle over the future of the party by those loyal to the previous regime of Farage and others who want a new direction.

The backlash started immediately as three members of the national executive resigned immediately – Victoria Ayling, Mick McGough and Ray Finch. In a joint letter, they said members of the national executive committee (NEC) had placed “personal ambitions, loyalties and jealousies at the heart of their decision-making” and displayed an “escalating megalomania”.

Tim Aker, a Ukip MEP who came close to winning Thurrock for Ukip at the election, said he was appalled at Woolfe’s exclusion, adding: “This isn’t over.”

A Ukip spokesman said: “An NEC-led panel sat on Tuesday afternoon to determine the eligibility of those that submitted nomination papers to stand to be Ukip’s new party leader...By a clear majority of NEC members Steven Woolfe MEP’s application was considered to be ineligible as a result of a late submission and as such he did not meet the eligibility criteria. His membership of the party was not in question.”

On PDC Watch

Just out of interest, figures released recently, the EU pension liablity is £47 billion and we will have to pay a share of that literally for ever. An MEP who does a 5 year term is guranteed an annual pension of about £16000 pa which is non contributory, how many MEPs are there? Add to that all the commissioners.

For the latest year the EU expenses total £226 billion!

Not for ever. Once our current MEP's and Commissioners have passed away then it is done. Employees within the EU are just employees like in any other company or government and who they recruit will have nothing to do with the UK. But it will be a negotiation issue just like the rest.

The payments they make are absolutely shocking mind you, and again highlight the absolute waste that goes on within this additional political abomination........

I like woolfe, tends to come across as knowing what he's on about in what few interviews I've seen of him

Doesn't change the fact that you are sitting on the same side of the table as those 'bigoted racists'.

I hope my ideology never places me on the same side of the table as those folks.
