Corbyn just doesnt come across as a leader. Sorry, and it will offend your views because you can no doubt bring forward a blizzard of really great ideas he has proposed. But he comes across as a bit of a sixth form debating society member.

I am no fan of Johnson, but I can see how his leadership style, note, style not detail, can appeal to normal folk rather than those that populate political message boards.

The government might have lost another vote to have an early general election tonight, and parliament is absolutely entitled to vote that way. But, the longer this continues, the more the british people will feel like those voting no to a GE - particularly Labour - are denying them their say.

Surprisingly, I am not myself convinced that Corbyn expected to be elected leader, but in the circumstances I think he has acquitted himself well. He certainly has a better grasp of detail than johnson or swinson, but I think he is more suited being a fine back bench MP as he has been for a long time. It is a terrible reflection on our society that those people you describe as "normal folk" believe the lies and crap spouted by johnson. I consider myself a normal person but I realised from my teens that the decisions taken by our MPs affect every aspect of my life, so I became interested in politics amongst many other things. Sorry but those who say "politics don't affect me' are naive and I wish more folk would actually stop and question every aspect of the way in which decisions made by politicians have an effect on their lives, be they right, left, centre, or Zone 14 supporters...
