There needs to be one else the government is useless and not fit for purpose. If you had an opposition that was happy to put through most of the policies of the minority government then that may be different but these two are poles apart and wouldn't even be able to agree what biscuits should be on the table at a meeting.

Kinda reflects the nation doesn't it?

They wouldn't need biscuits because they're all crackers.

So i assume from that you will grudgingly vote labour? i think they will maintain their base with similar opinions to yourself

Seriously, neil, I don't know. I would not vote for any other party. I have watched the shenanigans in Parliament over the last few weeks with increasing incredulity...

Ian Blackford giving by and large the Commons the address Corbyn should have been doing.

Can you explain to me, Janet and John style, what the difference is between a GE on the 9th of Dec, or the 12th Dec?

Cos I aint buying "The students are in residence" line.

Time it takes in legislative days for the Withdrawal Agreement Bill to pass through all stages of the house.

By the 9th it can't.

By the 12th it can.

Hugely significant for several parties.

That's pretty much it. Lib Dem/SNP voters tend to be younger just like Labour, so that date gives them the ability to mobilise the student vote to a deadline - "before you go home, vote!" etc.

It's just laughable to base your entire decision on it.
