Anyone on here calling some poster a fellow blue a toe rag from a mod no less is not setting the correct tone of the debate.....
You consistently give people a middle finger when debating on this thread. So I wouldn't be too worried about the tone.

But, I'd go further and suggest that anyone stating the '2017 election was not in line with the fixed term parliament but was voted for under the rules connected to that legestration' shouldn't really be expecting a sensibke debate.

they become 20+ million goose stepping nazis as soon as parliament or the EU upset them and they justifiably get the feeling that neither give a toss about them or there views.
this sham of a parliament will not last for ever let's see what the silly nuggets have unleashed on this country long term.
Not your finest hour here @edge

A pity this type of analysis wasn't available to voters in 2016.

Wales one if the worst to be hit no matter what sort of Brexit.....yet they voted to leave ...

It wouldn't have made the slightest difference, Bluerover. The Leave party conducted a poll prior to the referendum. They discovered people wanted to leave the EU even at harming the UK economy. It wasn't as if the Leave party had the better policies, they simply exploited people who were not capable of making a decision in the interest of the country.

Sorry, what? Did the actual elected representatives get replaced somehow on their way to Westminster? Alien clones, or Kremlin-controlled robots programmed to gridlock the country's democratic process?

For better or worse, these are the MPs that have been voted in by the British electorate. If they are particularly unimpressive maybe it's time to look again at the merits of the FPTP system, or how we've ended up with areas of the country so skewed that the idea of 'safe seats' can occur.

Or perhaps you just think the Executive should be able to force through whatever legislation it likes without having to get the elected body to approve it?
I would like them to do what they were sent there to do, and said they would do not just what they deem to be the direction in there personal views.
No point voting for anybody if they say well this is what we stand for vote for us ,
Then don't do it , makes the idea of voting pretty pointless.

I saw a headline to an article, which I didn’t read, but the headline was about how the writer was losing friends over Brexit.

Now I’ve no idea if these ‘friends’ were real friends or social media friends, but I find it difficult to understand why anyone would lose a friend who held a differing opinion. If we can put up with RS friends, why would having a different political opinion make a difference. Any views ?......

I would like them to do what they were sent there to do, and said they would do not just what they deem to be the direction in there personal views.

They are there to vote according to their personal views on a subject. Your MP is not your delegate in parliament who votes according to your wishes.

And if you don't like their conduct in office then you can contribute towards voting them out next time. Because that's how a democratic process actually works.

To be frank, it would be pretty helpful if Leavers (in general, not specifically you) understood how this stuff worked before posting.
