To retain any sense of credibility Joey will you now comment on Johnson racially abusing Muslims and questioning the heritage of the Irish Taoiseach?

Allow me to inject some nuance.

Neither is a racist. Johnson likes to dog whistle to the blue rinse brigade and play the retired colonel and Corbyn's dislike of Israel and America means hes prepared to overlook some extremely rum opinions amongst his friends.

Both are/would be appalling at the job of prime minister.

....absolutely, the state of Westminster politics with these two at the helm. It’ll come down to who is the least disliked across the country and i can only see one outcome. Momentum Labour should’ve done the clever thing a long time ago and replace Corbyn.

Labours problem is with their governance. MPs should select the leader, or at least have a greater say in who leads them (as the Tory’s do). Momentum loonies run the asylum. It all started to go downhill when they selected the wrong Milliband and I don’t know if there’s any way back.

Well they're both two sides of the same populist coin. I think social media has played a large part in driving nuance out of political debate entirely and a yes/no referendum on such a divisive issue only entrenched the idea that either somebody agrees with you or they are an idiot who's point of view is not worth considering and who wants what's worst for everybody.

....a December GE was long odds-on with bookmakers yesterday afternoon, but the market has flip-flopped and 2020 is now odds-on.

Personally, the later the better. Momentum Labour has little or no chance of winning, best let the Tory’s stew and forensically examine their exit Bill.

I would assume the longer this goes on the better for farage as well, which would help Labour.

It would be an act of insane stupidity to give johnson this mandate and unifying him with the brexit party vote, the worst tactical move and that's without considering that preventing a no deal brexit so the bannon tribe can get paid is absolutely the right priority for anyone with any morals whatsoever

So what constitutes taking no deal off the table, a delay till January?? If that’s what’s offered with a December election and he refuses then we’ll know for sure he’s all bluster. The only way for him to get his requirements is to be in power with a majority.
