They're the Scottish Nationalist Party, the clue is in the name.

Had we not embarked on rather a large game changer in Brexit this would be off the table for a generation.

I'm still not sure the EU would want to embolden the Catalan, Flemish and Italian seperatists by admitting an independent Scotland, but poking the rump of the UK in the eye would probably be appealing.

This what's going to be the Tories downfall come the election campaign, just as it was with May. It's all very good when you're sitting in Downing St and the BBC, Times, Mail and Telegraph are blowing smoke up Tory arse or warehouse full selected Tory members pretending to be Joe public (pun intended). However, when you actually have to go out on the road it's a totally kettle of fish. And just as May found out, no one really bothers with PMQ's or select committees, but televised debate in front of millions, Corbyn will turn the screw on him as the other oppositions leader will, the Tories sure as hell won't get a majority.

But Corbyn would be incapable of turning the screw on a Billy Bookcase in debate. He is a lousy public speaker unless it's shouting anti imperialist slogans.
