This is what BBC expects, so a failure looming for Boris

News coming out of no 10 saying if letwin passes they'll pull the vote. If this happens all sorts of [Poor language removed] will hit all sorts of fans

2nd referendum becoming more and more likely if Johnson follows the law and extends

What exactly is the Letwin amendment? Its just for a small extension isnt it? Can't be that contentious?

I wouldn't wish violence on anyone - but the people formed a revolutionary militia dedicated solely to throwing chips at journalists who report that "a number 10 source said...", I would happily buy them a bag or two.

It is that the deal will not be passed until the legislation that supports it has been passed. Obviously the fact that this is how Parliament has worked for hundreds of years means that this is the elite riding roughshod over THE PEOPLE AND BREXIT or something.

On the surface, you're right.

However it'll mean that by law Johnson must extend, something he's been adamant he's not going to do.

It also means that the revised withdrawal agreement is properly scrutinised, as it should be. MPs will want an analysis of the outcomes.

Basically today could've been MPs under pressure to agree something they don't fully understand, very bad in my opinion. There is a danger that everyone is so exhausted by brexit that they just wave anything through to get it over with.

It's the politics equivalent of trying to find something decent to eat at a late hour but can't find anything so you end up with any old [Poor language removed] from the garage.

I think the EU will allow the extension and MPs will bring forward a referendum, Johnson's deal Vs remain

I haven't had time to read the details of this deal, so I will reserve judgement. It has been interesting to see a lot of hardline no deal Brexit supporters doing an about-face, now demanding that MPs vote for this deal (except for Nigel Farage, whose party will probably sink if Johnson takes Britain out of the EU with an acceptable deal).

The main sentiment I am seeing right now is “bored of Brexit, pass the deal”. It is looking like a more popular compromise than May's Withdrawal Agreement, perhaps partly because all of the naysayers have spent the last six months insisting that Boris would not be able to re-open negotiations. He surprised me too. Don't get me wrong, he is still a charlatan.

I won't make any predictions about the outcome of the vote. Quite a few Labour MPs and anti-Johnson Tories have stated they will vote for the deal, so it has a better chance than the WA indeed. Funny times.

This.
IMO, In this case, since they called the Refferendum and Parliament is there for the people, to represent them. They should vote for the Refferendum - not for what they think the people should want...just because its what they want...and they know best.

If Letwin's motion is carried and they can only take a meaningful vote today, it'll be kicked down the road for a couple of weeks....in which time matters like this will start to concentrate minds....
