That can't be true?
It will be part of the suspected Johnson/Cummins master-plan to declare a state of emergency so that they can suspend the rule of law and go for No Deal without parliament being involved. Emergency powers legislation would be enacted.

Yet another incompetent fool speaks garbage :

He of course has form, and joins multitudinous Tories as an out and out hypocrite, but that doesn't seem to matter any more.

So what's next?

This turd burger of a deal is getting knocked back, as we all know. What should happen is a VONC happens and we get this clown out to secure that extension. That's what should happen, if the LibDems weren't the unscrupulous bunch of no marks that they are, led by Austerity Queen Swinson. A 'revered parliamentarian' as an interim PM isn't getting a look in either.

Where are we here now? As far as I can make out, when that 'deal' is officially dead the belief amongst the opposition is that the courts will enforce the Benn Act. Hmmm.

My dough is still on the all Ireland Backstop.

The DUP are halfway there now, having been forced to agree the regulatory alignment thingy.

Watch them agree the rest if it, the customs union, just before Johnson goes to Brussels.

Given what they've said about it in the past as a red line which cant be broken as it'll split the UK, that'd be quite some climb down.

I was intrigued to read your post yesterday about the DUP all at Stormont yesterday, though. So maybe something is afoot.
