How is it a climb down. A law has been passed, he has said he will obey the Law. He has now told a U.K. Court that he will obey the Law. He will obviously obey the Law. We wait and see.......
The horrible little toe rag cummings probably has advised Johnson to do a deal with the far right nazis in Hungary to veto any request for an extension so he can blame the EU for a no deal which has been the plan all along of course.

Weird rumours going round that Hungary have been offered a bung by the UK government to veto the extension request on 19 October.

That would be pretty much the only realistic way we leave with No Deal - if an EU state vetoes the extension.

It would, of course, amount to treason if Johnson and Cummings did this, but proving it would be difficult in the short term and we'd have left before we could.

File under very unlikely but goes to show the state of politics that its even a consideration.

Johnson had said he will “die in a ditch” before writing a letter seeking that extension.

Let’s suppose he has the Hungarian honcho onside with this, ready to veto the rquest.

But in order for him to do that, a request would need to be made in the first place, via a letter signed by Mr. Boris Johnson esq.

All of the suggestion is that because Hungarian delegates were in London yesterday that a deal has been agreed for Hungary to Veto the extension. If a deal like this were to be agreed, I doubt it would be done in person.

Even if he asks for the extension, then asks Hungary to Veto it, I expect that Parliament will act to remove Johnson and revoke A50.

What do you think the appetite in the country would be to start the A50 process again, if revoked?

Does this letter have to be signed by johnson? Could he delegate it elsewhere? I don't trust this lying excuse for a PM.

To me that is the easy way around it....have someone else sign and deliver it.

But apparently it has to be signed by the Prime Minister of the country seeking the extension.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Johnson didn’t know that when he shot of his mouth and thought he could send the Moggster or Raab lol
