Only that’s demonstrably untrue.
Literally no one campaigned on a platform suggesting no deal was a desirable outcome - no one.
In fact it was quite the reverse. No deal was portrayed as being part of ‘project fear’, as ‘they need us more than we need them’, ‘easiest deal in human history’, ‘we can have our cake and eat it’, German cars & Prosecco though, and assorted other absolute guff about how the EU would bend their own rules for a leaving member because - Blighty innit.
The official Leave campaign went further, they put in their leaflet that we’d not even trigger A50 until a deal was agreed (which showed their ignorance btw) and we’d leave in an ‘orderly manner’
The idea that 3 years later the ‘sunlit uplands’ that were promised, which have morphed into ‘there will be food’ under no deal, is what people actually voted for in 2016, is absolute nonsense, and holds up to zero scrutiny
The fact that you’re parroting it, merely shows how successfully groomed and gaslit you’ve been.
