An instant ignore for me. Anyone defending Johnson for yesterday has something wrong with them and aren't worth my time.

Indeed. Absolute WUM, showed his true colours weeks back, pretty sure he was one of the pro-fascist lot that emerged about the same time. Best left in a sewer with the rest of the faecal outpour this country's been subjected to in the last few years.

Even for you, thats some piece of work.

Funnily enough I used to post on a forum (that has since banned political chat) with a pro-Leave Scottish guy who said similar - the UK political class had grown too lazy and feeble and he was hoping a new class of hardened ubermensch (my word) politicians would emerge from the Brexit chaos.

He also kept referring to a post-Brexit trading UK as 'lean and agile' and posted excitedly about the new opportunities of supplying India, saying "send forth the ships".

Nutters, all of them.

For gods sake man. Open your eyes.
What did he do that was so wrong?, it is a surrender bill, it is absurd to try blame death threats on the language he uses like “surrender” and “Humbug”.

MP’s have been getting death threats no matter what party from the dawn of parliament, it’s just a lot easier for keyboard warriors to send them via Twitter these days.

There are a hell of a lot of angry people out there because of how the remainers are trying to reverse the referendum, although not condoning it, you can see how people get angry on the internet and take it too far, look how it happens in this thread when anyone who supports Brexit gives an opinion.

The most abuse, screaming and shouting, came from the Labour benches last night that is for sure.

You are being utterly played mate. That response proves it.

You might agree with the reasons you are being played, (clue; it isnt all about leaving the EU), or more likely, you havnt, wont, or cant see it.

Lob all the popular, well rehearsed reasons for leaving that are familier to us all to one side for a few minutes. Then ask your self, WHY the high priests of Leaving REALLY want to leave, themselves.

I am not for one moment denigrating your own reasons for wanting to leave, I am challenging if you have wondered for one second what the agenda is for those who have drilled into them.

You’re parroting the words he used about an act of Parliament that is solely to ensure we don’t suffer the consequences of a no deal Brexit.

It’s in no way a ‘surrender’ they’re now using that word to describe it, solely as it plays into the ‘People vs Parliament’ false narrative that they’re desperate to spin before the election - and you’ve patently bought it.

You’re literally cheerleading for a bloke who’s using incendiary language to create further division in order to fulfil his and his party’s aim of another term in office, whilst paying off their backers who’ve got £8BN riding on a no deal outcome.

Mugged off doesn’t even come close.

Welcome back to the thread mate :-)

When you remainers come round to the truth that the EU has to make sure trade is as smooth as it is now with us, you can start to imagine the opportunities this country has without the EU ruling over us.

Amazingly, the banned poster @The Mighty Quint had the same mindset.

But, that can't be you as you have never been banned.
