In summary of today's Supreme Court activity. Pannick was excellent, if little flimsy in his position, Keen was poor and a bit snippy in his response to questioning and his argument was a little confused despite being fairly simple.
Seemed to be struggling to defend what is, if not an unlawful action, definitely an immoral one.

To be fair to @marnie I don't think(?) he has ever posted anything in favour of Brexit. So I fear a bit of crosswires going on and calling someone a brexiteer when they are not is like calling an evertonian a kopite.
That's fair enough mate, and if he's not a Brexiteer I apologise unreservedly to him. It's a fact though that a lot of Brexiteers have been using people's personal appearances as a stick to beat them with, as opposed to debating the point at hand. I have a relative who does it with his far right friends. That kind of behaviour should be utterly condemned. I am happy to talk about Brexit with Marnie and find out his opinions. I'm not that interested in calling people names though. Very childish in my opinion.

So someone get away with calling someone a prick in another thread and get away with it lol

"Say that to all the islamics that come over here and chop the heads of 14 year old boys"

Why is there such a strong correlation between Leave voters and ignorant bigots?

Because (to a large degree with many people) the referendum was seen as a straight argument between a multi-racial, tolerant and diverse Britain, and those who want to dump those values....and the latter dont give a damn about whether it means economic ruin.

IMO the referendum should be honoured and Britian leave the EU...but FFS, not on a kamikaze no deal outcome, and certainly not at the end of the jackboots of bigoted scum.
