Joey my point was you saying what about the 4 million Labour Leave supporters and I countered with what about the 5 million Tory Remain supporters. Now what do you say?

I'm glad you're not serious mate.

I know many retirees voted to leave, however in my experience many were not that well educated, suffering from being on the wrong side of the grammar/secondary-modern devisive education system of the past. Many are also addicted to the tabloids and the constant daily brainwashing thereof. Seeing the world through the eyes of the Scun and the Heil.

I am an ardent remainer, what else? I decided to live in rural France after my retirement. My future welfare depends on the outcome of this fiasco; hence I need to have the right to vote in any election/referendum leading to any outcome.
As an aside
How will Brexit affect British residents living abroad.
Will SEPA still be in Britain ?
Will you still be able to access free medical care ?

The French have said they could veto lengthening the talks, the French foreign minister told reporters "We are not going to do this (extend the deadline) every three months"

And that's going to be the problem for remain MPs with Parliament not even close to agreeing on anything, the EU somewhere along the line are going to say "enough is enough" it might actually come to a point where they say we have to bow out with no deal.

I suppose the funny thing about all this is the level of snowflakiness about the French suggesting this by Brexiters who demand that no deal be on the table to show them we mean business. Despite the rhetoric about trading with the world, they don't seem to have the first clue as to the damage their behaviour is doing to our reputation internationally. Being a laughing stock is bad enough, but an untrustworthy laughing stock is even more damaging.

I think with a country divided, a Parliament all over the gaff, a no deal on the table to show we mean business is just be a hollow threat, and I'm baffled why Brexiters can't now see this. At the end of the day the EU have literally got us by the balls.

It's a frankly bizarre transformation, as three years ago even the hardest Brexiters entered this process saying no deal would be the very worst outcome possible, and now they're trying to spin this as an acceptable alternative to an orderly transition. It's maddening, and we're only in this position because the negotiated outcome the government went for was to have all of the benefits of EU membership whilst accepting none of the obligations, which was never going to happen. I know it's perhaps futile to want a degree of realism to enter these proceedings, but if we're talking about failed negotiating strategies, perhaps going into the negotiations with a position you know full well will be rejected was not a good start.

They really are taking leave voters for absolute mugs.

Behave, the government's stance is taking everyone for mugs.
