I knew there was a strong Irish connection to Liverpool but I never realised it was so influential. Thanks for posting that link. Although I'm a Londoner I like to think that 53 years of supporting Everton makes me an honorary Scouser (although my brother refers to me as the plastic variety). I have only been to Liverpool a handful of times but, now I'm retired, I hope to show my wife what a great city it is when attending a game or two at Goodison, and then the [insert sponsor's name here] Merseyside stadium.@peteblue Assuming you’re a scouser Pete. Here’s some stuff the Irish gave us

How Liverpool’s Irish Migrants Helped Shape The City - Signatures Liverpool
Liverpool’s history is built on the back of immigrants and refugees who’ve helped build the incredibsignaturesliverpool.co.uk
Hope you aren’t offended by them being migrants but as you said yourself, you’re one of us.
That BBCQT.
The only person from the panel to come out with any dignity is Ian Dale.
Thornberry is horrible and just showed Labour are scared, even if Corbyn isn't, of a general election.
Also said she'd campaign against a deal Labour would make with the EU if they got in.
Absolutely mental.
I'm curious do you use a phone with no sim card for browsing the web? Or did you remove your sim card before taking the screenshot so people would see your carrier?
I am always interested in techniques people use for privacy etc.. just wondered is all not malice or disrespect intended.
Eh? Are you saying it says no sim when on wifi? Or he is using the phone for just wifi and thus doesn't need the simWiFi

I know that. My very question to him confirms i understand he can connect to the web.The SIM card does not stop you connecting to a wireless network. He may have no credit on his phone or have no reception to a cell tower, but if he’s in a building with WiFi he can still connect to it, the same way your laptop would
Reckon most fair minded would come to that conclusion without having reade or debated. It's why it's been allowed to manifest and it's not the fault of EU but our own domestic politics led by our Governments, stand up and take responsibility, Conservative/Conservative Liberal Democrat/New Labour.![]()
A new index finds neglect in Britain’s banlieues
There is a strong association between a neighbourhood’s position on the new index and its support for Brexitwww.economist.com
Huge correlation between poverty and voting leave.
I know that. My very question to him confirms i understand he can connect to the web.
Also the sim card would always be registered even if he has no credit. It would say no coverage. Unless of course network operator is set to manual and for some reason it changed carrier.
Pal i work in technology i know how cell phones work.
I was curious if he was one of those who is private and thus removes his sim to browse or simply doesn't want people to see his carrier.
Hmmm....yeah because people are so sensitive nowadays they don’t want others to know who provides them with their mobile plan
Hmmm....
Clearly you have no grasp of cell phones if you think the highlighted is the reason. How on earth can anyone tell your plan based on carrier information? Didn't think that one through did you.
There is a multitude of reasons why someone doesn't want their carrier revealed. You realise people on internet forums pretend to be who they are not. A cell carrier automatically gives up your location. People also like to be private and so browsing the web sans sim allows you in the case of hacking not to be compromised.
Or simply his current carriers contract ran out and his sim is not activated.
Anyway you are not him and your attempt to school me failed. Sarcasm when it doesn't make sense makes you look foolish by the way. Especially when you have no idea how sim cards work.
Who's outraged?Lol
