He will win a majority comfortably imo.
Labour need leave seats to win a GE. They've played to their London remain gallery who were already right behind them. I think Corbyn will get hammered.
Of course you do; you thought he'd get hammered in 2017 and were wrong.
This idea that UKIP, or now the Brexit Party, are going to thrash Labour across the North is one that has been floating around for ages even though it has failed at every general election and by election. The threat to Labour in the North was always because of what the circle around Blair had done to the party, making the Labour vote stay home because it thought it was taken for granted and ignored (it was) and allowing the Tories (who are the second party in almost all of those seats) in.
When Corbyn became leader, more of that stay at home vote came out and the situation improved somewhat. What
didn't happen is that UKIP won any of those seats - nor could it, because it has very little local organization (unlike the Tories with their clubs and whatnot) and the candidates were nonentities. The BP has even less local organization than UKIP did (because, again, it is not actually a political party with members) which is why Farage is demanding to borrow the local Tory organization in order to try and win those seats. If he doesn't get that, they will have no MPs
again.
You meanwhile will still be here, telling us that Labour will get hammered in the North / leave seats.
