Pathetic

Bin off one prime minister , literally push a law through to prevent the next one doing something. Then not call for an election?

I mean seriously?

So the majority are happy enough to vote down Johnson and not support him but fine having him as prime minister because none of the rest know they wouldn't win an election anyway.

It's just pathetic. What's this all achieving? Delaying Brexit yet again is the end result.

And what does that tell the EU? They tell us we have 6 months to sort ourselves out and in that time we get rid of a prime minister, spend half the time picking a new one, vote down leaving by adding a law, don't even bloody talk about the EU never mind negotiate with them.

I'm sorry but if you think there is any manoeuvre s left with negotiating a leave deal then you are frankly mistaken at this point. It really is the deal or no deal now, or just not leave at all. What we have proven is this country is a complete embarrassment when it comes to politics.

People who think that Johnson will get a majority for the Tories really need to wake up. There is none there to be had. There just isn't. Even with the polls positioned as they are right now - which is good as it gets in all likelihood - he cant.
He's hoping by going no deal ultra the Brexit company Ltd won't run any candidates. Farage has said he won't if the Tories shoot the UK in the head with no deal

Plenty of Tory MPs tonight insisting that we don't need a people's vote, and if the opposition want to honour democracy they should knuckle down and go for the general election option. But we had people in here stating that a referendum was a higher form of democracy?
Ofcourse it is the highest form of democracy, asking 60m to decide the fate of something trumps asking 650 self serving MP's to do it.

This GE is a referendum, there are clear stances on all sides now, the lines have been drawn finally, if you want to leave the EU come what may on the 31st October, you vote Tory and the Brexit party, If you want to remain you vote Labour, LiB Dem or SNP.

Vast majority of remainers wanted a 2nd vote, there it is.

I reckon this is the end game some MPs are playing for mate.

9 years of Tory rule, yes he's had a great innings :(, unelectable, he should have gone last time, he will be gone after the next GE.

If in the sad event that Corbyn does not win the next general election it will quite clearly be the fault of the right-wing media and the red tories within the Labour Party. Not, in any way our Jezza's.

He cant agree to that. That's the issue. Farage knows it and has set him a task he cant complete...that's his electoral baby and he's going to exploit it.

Aye it does seem that way.

I wish they would just come out and say that and deal with the flack. Rather than keep the charade going on. This is damaging the country far more than Brexit ever could , subjective opinion based. Businesses have no idea what's going on and it's them that need to know. Currencies are dropping because there is so much unknown so noone is investing in the pound.

It's just embarrassing now. If this was another country then they would be labelled as incompetent
