You obviously don't understand how my industry works. Yes, I could have gone back to UK but it would have cost an awful lot of seniority and £ to start at the bottom of a seniority list in my 40s with a UK airline. There comes a point as an expat where one just can't afford to return.

I am not complaining that I don't have a vote, just stating the fact that I have been disenfranchised. It doesn't prevent me from exercising my right to comment and influence.

No, immigration (into UK) was no factor in my decision to leave UK.
