The problem with some people in this thread is that they expect others to come up with all the solutions, whilst coming up with none themselves. This line of enquiry is prevalent in academic circles, where a particular issue is discussed for ever and a day without anything tangible ever surfacing.

I look in on this thread and watch in fascination as one faction avidly attacks the other.

Not gonna get involved any more.

As for the name, after what that gobeen said in 1977 I wouldn't go near the name, or the person (and never did) when he was alive...

Varadkar does exactly the same. A solution to the border is required by both sides yet all he continually does is say “it wasn’t us that voted for Brexit” then puts his head back in the sand......I don’t think I’ve seen a single suggestion, other than stay in the EU, from any remainer to tackle any of the issues the country faces. They all take the view, we didn’t vote for it so you must come up with the answer. Yet when similar divisions are faced after a GE, the losers don’t just point and say “nothing to do with us gov”......

No answer then? Same old same old..........

I know what Hughes said in 77 but that has no relevance to what I asked you.

Cant help believe had Brecon and Radorshire returned Davies, a Brexit supporting Conservative expenses fiddling MP, it would be all so different tune an unnamed faction would be singing.

Why would somebody want to come up with a solution to something they don't want?

Here’s a solution.
Stay in the single market.
Hwews another one
Leave the single market but give your neighbors an insurance policy Incase a deal can’t be agreed

Hahaha. 3 people live in a house. 2 want to leave, 1 doesn’t. They have a vote. Leave wins. They pack their bags and stand at the end of the drive. The remainer asks ‘where we gonna stay now?’ the leavers state ‘it’s not up to us to come up with the answer to that mate.’ The remainer says ‘well that was clever’ the leavers say ‘where’s your sense of adventure’ and go off to stay in a fancy hotel

That is just about the size of it. Brexiteers want brexit but it is up to the remainers to come up with a plan to achieve that. Why did most remainers vote to stay? Because they could see there was no viable solution to appease everyone and give at least the same standard of living as there is now. Couldn't make it up.
