But that has happened all because remainers spat their dummies out ......No, sorry mate, despite what I think of our board, that's just not going to happen in the first place as it's a totally ludicrous plan....like a certain scummy tory Cameron's was ....... lollol
lollollollollol
If the Queen had intervened and gone the other way the anti Roylist would have gone mad - not saying she should have got involved though......Gammoners of Britain unite........let us spout total crap !!!!! lollollollollollol
Errr I was referring to Cameron's idea of a referendum in the first place, not what has happened since then......sigh....But that has happened all because remainers spat their dummies out ......
The current line of Brexiteer thinking seems to beGammoners of Britain unite........let us spout total crap !!!!! lollollollollollol
Errrr. Any parliamentary bill has to have royal assent once it's passed through both houses.........If the Queen had intervened and gone the other way the anti Roylist would have gone mad - not saying she should have got involved though......
Did you even bother to read my answer to Khals post.Khalekan, we keep repeating this. The Brexiteers don't even acknowledge that there is a border problem. That is the kind of thick, pig headed approach that has us where we are now. There are two solutions;-a customs border down the Irish Sea (which May wanted, therefore throwing her DUP mates under the bus), or a United Ireland. The irony of these clowns (Wilson, Paisley, Campbell, Rees Mogg, Redwood, Francois etc etc) bringing forward the timeline for full Irish independence is delicious.

He's a 'card carrying socialist' so I doubt it.Screw that.
Joe, if I thought for one moment an ageing, privileged arl bird could stymie any Bill passed in the HOC, no matter what the Bill was about, I would take to the barricades myself.
That our parliament still has to go through this charade of “royal assent” in the 21st century is just barking mad IMO.
You wouldn’t be a royalist Joe, would you?
Screw that.

No, but the Queen has stayed out of politics all her life - also it's another reason to abolish the House of Lords ......Screw that.

That's what my post indicated the furor if she had intervened ok.....The Queen hasnt intervened mate. She does what Parliament tell/ask her to do. Parliament wanted Royal Ascent on a bill that night, so she HAS to give it. Tis the rules. (Well, she doesnt HAVE to, unless she fancies looking for a new job).
