If thats it, after a 9 hour cabinet meeting, well. UK Plc is in a bigger pickle that even I thought.

If thats possible.

It is actually a lot cleverer than anything else she has come up with - if Corbyn went in there and backed Clarkes or Cooper-Boles, she would be honour bound to agree it (and in that case, it would probably pass by 400-odd).

That said, put Corbyn in a position where he solves this crisis then they (Labour) will walk the next election.

.....as i’ve said for an age, a Customs Union will be the way out of this mess. A soft Brexit bolted onto her own withdrawal agreement.

The hard line Brexiteers will not be happy, and Grayling, Fox, Leadsom, Mourdant et al could fall on their swords.

Cometh the hour cometh the man, oh Jeremy Corbyn...

It will all kicked off now. Suppose she knows Corbyn won't agree anything

That is probably the idea, but like most of the ideas May it runs the risk of being destroyed by events. If Corbyn goes in there and backs the Clarke or (more likely) the Boles proposal then she will be in a very difficult place indeed.

In fact, on watching it again you could even read that as supporting the original version of Kyle-Wilson (which was to pass her Withdrawal Agreement but with a confirmatory vote).

I cannot see Corbyn and May agreeing what day it is. Cant see Corbyn even agreeing to talks. Why would he? He cares a jot about Europe. His game has been obvious from day one.

And even if they did, the lunatic wings of both their parties would not back it.

The NI/ROI border is STILL unresolved.

SNP/DUP? Who knows.

Next few hours will be interesting... She could be kicking the can down the road. The ERG reaction will tell it wll
