Wasn't it all together ? Anyway, it's a long way from 'need to honour the aggregate vote against my constituent' s wishes' to pushing for the most extreme form of Brexit at the last minute.
It's not surprising though, he a sycophant of the highest order.

Most, if not all MP's are self serving. Just look at Soubry, her constituent's voted leave by a majority of 6,082.

Is it self serving to protect the interests of people who you don't think made a decision with the full awareness of facts?

I'm not coming down on either side of the fence on that, I just thought it was an interesting debate on the role of Parliament in our Democratic structure.

Just wondering what the leave supporters think about all the wealthy pro berxit campaigners moving out of the UK and bringing their finances with them? in my opinion the general public were sold a lie by the wealthy who stand to profit from the mess that was inevitability going to happen. The richest man in England Ratcliffe is one of many pro-Brexit supporters to make the move from the UK, including James Dyson moving his company to Singapore, John Redwood advises investors to put their money outside of Britain, Jacob Rees-Mogg's firm opening funds in Dublin, and Nigel Lawson seeking French residency. These all campaigned to leave and once leave was voted for they decided that it would be better for their finances to Remain in Europe. The british people have fallen for what appears to be a swindle by the wealthy to make some more money.

She may have had a change of heart after being made aware of the illegality of the Leave campaign....unlike Theresa May, who ploughed on despite being well aware it was illegal.

The ones that have a conscience are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They could easily vote in line with what their constituency did, however if that leads to large job losses in those areas they have to live with the fallout. I'd suggest that the ones that are for a no deal Brexit and point to just following orders to keep themselves in a job are the MPs who are self serving in all of this.
