The EU banned Sodium Chlorate as it is harmful to the environment and people. @Joey66 used, roughly about 50kg of the stuff in his 40 years as a Horticulturalist. He also thinks it's the same think as Sodium Chloride, which is salt.

His argument, throughout today, is that he wanted to leave the EU, because they unnecessarily banned one thing, which he mistakenly thinks is the same as another. Because his his mind Sodium Chlorate (which is harmful) is the same as salt (not harmful)

His evidence for this is 'they mine salt in Cheshire and put in on the roads' and his qualifications on COSHH.

Well, it is the appointed time as I write.

Havent really bothered with this thread much over its time, but im hooked atm, its just superb. The leavers really have the brightest minds on their side, Joey, Frank and Tommy Robinson.

As I stated if you trust google put common salt all over your lawn then get it redone .......

I posted a few weeks ago that I would post a photo out of my window on 29th March showing that the sky had not fallen in on us when Brexit finally came to fruition.

Our Mod Bruce posted that it wasn't funny posting pictures, or related Youtube vids, in this thread.

So I'm complying with Bruce's sensibilities over it.

Yes, and it helps to melt ice by reducing its freezing point. It is not classified as hazardous and has a low toxicity towards aquatic life so is pretty much perfect for the job. It is so safe you can put it on your food.
