Lived in Liverpool as a kid. Now split my time between Co. Louth in the RoI and Boston.
Less and less time in Ireland but still own a place there and don't want to see a return to a hard border (which is 20 miles away)
what about you, what's your politics?
can you see why people dont want a hard brexit?don't really have a politics game. but this Brexit situation has made me interested in learning about it.
this thread has proven to be a good plave to learn

The chemical formulas are not more or less the same. Sodium chlorate is an oxidising agent and very reactive, as all oxidising agents are. Sodium chloride is pretty inert. Honestly, you do not know what you are talking about. The chemical formulas are more a less the same try putting household salt on your lawn and see how it kills the grass...
yet you can sprinkle it on your chips.....
That has been painfully evident for some time, but his turn as an amateur chemist claiming various formulas are more or less the same has been most diverting. Given it's his basis for a dogmatic approach to a ludicrous political position actually makes it more incredibleThe chemical formulas are not more or less the same. not talking about leaving the EU, I'm talking about you're willingness to leave on a no deal.absolutely I can. but for every person who wants to stay in the EU , for whatever reason, there is one person who wants out , for their own particular reason.
we are where we are
Uh oh.The chemical formulas are not more or less the same. Sodium chlorate is an oxidising agent and very reactive, as all oxidising agents are. Sodium chloride is pretty inert. Honestly, you do not know what you are talking about.
why do you need me to have a reason ???not talking about leaving the EU, I'm talking about you're willingness to leave on a no deal.
You haven't made it clear why you're so willing to leave on a no deal, which for people with something tangible at stake, is very frustrating.
Its not the weed killer form of salt it's an entirely different compound.ditto - I was waiting for you lol
Does salt really kill weeds?
Yes, it works and works well.
When used properly, salt can and will kill your weeds.
Do I need special garden salt?
It may sound silly but we get asked this an awful lot.
No, any salt will do, even regular old table salt.
YET THE EU BANNED THE WEEDKILLER FORM USED SINCE ADAM............
it's not very informative tho, is it.why do you need me to have a reason ???
my reason is, I don't like being part of this European project, never have, never will.
that is reason enough.
it doesn't need to be.it's not very informative tho, is it.
also, you dont really answer anything, do you.why do you need me to have a reason ???
