well there hasn't been any negotiations.... they have drawn up a contract which heavily suits them and May has signed it.

im just anti-Europe in general.

I don't like the super state idea at all

I’m sorry to shoot you down but there deffo have been negotiations . For example this backstop is our idea they didn’t want it , we did so they accepted our suggestion.

Not off me they ain't lol
In defense of the profession, there is a lot of Pro Bono work done, particularly in regard to wills and probate in things like WillAid and free wills month and a huge amount of legal advice given freely to charities on matters of principle, such as immigration applications and appeals.

il be honest with you.

we shouldn't even be negotiating in the first place..

as I, and every leave voter I personally know, voted to leave. we didn't vote for our government to do a deal behind our backs and basically stay in Europe in all but name.

this referendum result has been twisted over and over and turned inside out and this is where we are now... with the government gridlocked into a ridiculous decision all because they refuse to carry out the will of the majority of voters....

its disgusting that we are being made to pander to the EU, begging for more time and begging for concession's etc, only to be rebuffed time and time again, which makes the UK look hollow and leaderless.

I think a lot of people, esp in here, are really underestimating just how much Europe is reviled by 100,000's of UK citizens..

It's strange isn't it how some folk just don't get how much people don't like them.

I don’t mean to be rude , I scrupulously try not to be mate but that I’m afraid is complete and utter nonsense fella. You voted to leave so we just leave the next day or basically leave without any negotiations who it’s down . no trade deals , no solution to the Irish border , no rights for Eu citizens , no rights for British citizens living in Europe , no Europol roll over , no security cooperation protocols basically nothing . That I’m afraid would lead to absolute anarchy , chaos . Not only from an economic point I’d view it’d but the security of the nation . You just can’t do stuff like that mate , I get you want to leave and that will probably happen , I don’t oppose that but things have to happen .

I think the divorce analogy is crap but even looking at that you can’t just walk out the house , there are responsibilities things have to sorted out.

I don’t think I underestimate the sense of feeling against Europe , it’s deffo there .personally I think the majority , not all , of it is baseless . Faned by the red tops in particular and stories about bendy bananas, Cornish pasties , hoovers , health and safety and the rest .

We’re begging because we’re useless we can’t pass anything . Can we have a backstop , we don’t want a backstop give us something else but we don’t know what , give us something else . Give us more time to pass something , we don’t know what yet

your entitled to your opinion and I am mine.

that's just the way I see it.

4. No one is disputing that he is allowed an opinion. What is in dispute is that he flagrantly abuses his position to insult people in this thread. Hence why I say that he is a disgrace.

Correct I admit I have not read the entire thread (and sometimes I skim really fast + it’s good to have an occasional break), I have however read quite a bit of it over the last +- two years. So I have read a couple of the incidents that you’re referring to (including @Joey66 idiotgate – not words I thought that I would ever be typing). Joey and him dealt with that in an appropriate manner. As Joey himself said, a bit exhausting to hold a grudge for something online.

Most of the time it really just boils down to people getting frustrated; it is not personal. Interaction and reaction. Especially lately with this whole charade that keeps dragging on. It’s a bit like the transfer thread in here atm. The longer this drags on, the more niceties are flying out of the window. Good reflection of society though. Many people in here with opinions that are impossible to reconcile. E.g: those advocating no-deal and someone whose livelihood depends on import from EU-country X. Besides almost all the prominent figures in this thread are constantly having a go at each other (you included and you also dish out), e.g: @Bruce Wayne didn’t have the best of days in here yesterday I see.

There are rules but they are not strictly enforced - unless you really go over the top. For no one. So no need to get upset really imo.

@abelard : What’s so bad about growing up in a Canadian wasteland? Sounds better than in a grim city, assuming that it’s in a part that doesn’t have very long winters.

Me and the missus have full residence permits her in Greece.Driving licenses need to be changed and small stuff like that.No major upheaval though.Lawyers are making a small fortune doing translations for stuff like this lol
Just read this back fully.

You are applying Greek Law as an illustration of how painless it is to become a resident, when the article is talking about EU nationals living in the UK.

My experience of Greek Legislation on migration, although incredibly limited, is that it's mainly outdated and largely ignored by the Government. In part why Golden Dawn gained traction in the 90's and 200's

Yeah and opinions are sound mate but you have to sort things out . Even if it’s jusf citizens rights , if you didn’t negotiate what would have happened to the U.K. citizens in Europe or the Eu citizens here ? What would happen to policing or security ? Can you accept that you’d have to at least speak at those things ?

Leaving and wanting to leave is one thing that’s absolutely valid but ignoring the fact things are involved in that just seems wilfuly ignorant and I honestly don’t think you’re that .

It's nothing personal Fred, he did the same with me in this thread.

You have to appreciate London is a bubble on Brexit and it's very difficult for London centric to understand Brexit and so conjure up reasoning that is more often than not very misguided.
Thing is mate, being called a racist is not something I can just laugh off.
