....so, lots will now depend on the DUP. I suspect they will abstain.

May resigns to allow an ERG Prime Minister to manage the 2nd phase, so securing their backing to her deal.

It’s so grubby.

They have to be voted in by the other MPs though, so it might not be quite as straight forward. But that said, I would be quite surprised if our old friend Boris isnt well placed.

Indeed, with them being a minority government, they need others to support them for it to pass, and it surely requires Bercow's approval, unless May's head on a stick counts as significant change to the deal, which is surely absurd?

Thats the bit I still dont quite get. Bercow has been pretty clear on another vote, and like you, just cos May lobs herself off a bridge, it doesnt really change the deal does it? Maybe they will just stop this session and start another one on Friday.

....if I remember the process, Conservative MPs nominate 2 (I think) candidates and the party members then select the new leader. If Boris is one of those selected by MPs, it’s likely he will become PM and lead the next phase Brexit negotiations.

It seems a long time ago that the Tories were promising strong and stable governance.

Pretty sure thats right. The MPs might start with 8, but whittle it down to the 2 the party votes for.

Which is what they are all telling themselves now, but when only one candidate emerges again and the membership doesnt vote they'll somehow be surprised.

For someone like me that take's no interest in stuff like this at all [and there is so many],what does it actually mean if we vote to leave-does it mean price rises etc,pay for hospital visit's etc

What was the reason for all this Brexit stuff from the start, was it suppose to be better for Britain

and again if as ive seen people say this could all be cancelled by a certain vote or non vote, why did it happen in the 1st place
